Recently, the Office of Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government issued the Notice on Announcing the Shaanxi Construction List of Innovation and Entrepreneurship College and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Practice Base and the Assessment Method ( Shaanxi Education High Office [2022] No.36 ). Through voluntary application, after material review, expert evaluation and public announcement stage, Peihua’s creativity center was successfully elected to the construction list of provincial innovation and entrepreneurship education practice base, making an important breakthrough in the effective construction of innovation and entrepreneurship platform.

In recent years, Peihua has conscientiously implemented the Guidance Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Further Supporting College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Opinions on Further Strengthening Practical Cultivation in Colleges and Universities, placed innovation and entrepreneurship work at a strategic level of construction and development, and made innovation and entrepreneurship work an important driver of talent training mode reform and the promotion of the transformation and development of the university. The creativity center is supported by the teaching affair administration center, a functional department of the university. By gathering the diverse resources of government, enterprises, cooperative partners and secondary schools, the creativity center provides a low-cost, convenient, all-factor and open practice space for students and teachers, innovation and entrepreneurship project teams and graduated entrepreneurs (entrepreneurial alumni), and has been awarded the provincial-level incubation base of crowd-making of Science and Technology Department, municipal-level incubation base of Science and Technology Bureau, and municipal-level business incubation demonstration of Human Resources Bureau. It was successfully elected as a member of the science and technology business incubator in Shaanxi Province. Benefits brought by the creativity center are increasingly prominent.

Next, Xi’an Peihua University will deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Basing on the comprehensive implementation of the Party’s education policy and the completion of the fundamental task of moral education, we will continue to deepen the innovation and entrepreneurship reform, and increase the university’s support for innovation and entrepreneurship of college students. Focusing on the construction of new engineering course, new medical course, new agricultural course, and new liberal arts and taking the construction of Qinchuangyuan as an opportunity, we will work to promote the integration of majors and disciplines and fully integrate innovation and entrepreneurship with labor education, ideological and political education, integration of production and education and achievement transformation. We will deeply promote the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum system and innovation and entrepreneurship teaching materials, build a team of innovation and entrepreneurship instructors with high professional quality and strong service ability, work hard to construct an innovation and entrepreneurship practice platform on campus, continuously improve students’ innovation and entrepreneurship ability and employment competitiveness, promote the overall development of college students, and help more students get jobs with higher quality.
