On November 14th, the launching ceremony of the “Qin Girls” Maker Program was held at Xi’an Peihua University. Shaanxi Provincial Women’s Federation Party Secretary and Chairman Wang Yu’e, Provincial Women’s Federation Party Member and Vice-Chairman Dang Jie, Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security Second-level Inspector Han Jun, Provincial Women’s Federation Second-level Inspector Cui Zhiwei, Provincial Party Committee Education Work Committee College Student Work Department, Provincial Department of Education Bai Yang, the second-level researcher of the University Student Affairs Office, and Jiang Bo, Chairman of Xi’an Peihua University, attended the event.

The “Qin Girls” Maker Program is jointly sponsored by the Provincial Women’s Federation, the Provincial Department of Education, and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security. A series of measures such as the “Qin Girls” employment service platform, the establishment of the “Qin Girls” employment and entrepreneurship mentor team, the launch of the “Qin Girls” entrepreneurship service action, the cultivation of typical entrepreneurs and employment of “Qin Girls” and the strengthening of financial service support, etc., provide employment and entrepreneurship for female college students and provide assistance to improve the quality and empowerment of female college students’ employment and entrepreneurship.
Inspiring women’s aspirations and forging ahead on a new journey, Shaanxi women have the courage to start a business, good at innovation, and have achieved fruitful results. The activity kicked off with the video Glittering me, which intuitively demonstrated the power of women in innovation and entrepreneurship, and highlighted the theme of paying attention to and encouraging female college students to innovate and start businesses.
In her speech, Dang Jie pointed out that under the guidance of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we should further improve the working mechanism, strengthen communication and cooperation, form a joint force, promote the implementation of various policies and measures, and promote the full and higher quality of female graduates’ employment or entrepreneurship. She hopes that female college students will keep General Secretary Xi Jinping’s entrustment in mind, strengthen their beliefs, follow the party closely, seize opportunities and meet challenges, establish a correct outlook on career, employment and career choice, base themselves on validity and hard-working together. Hoping they can display youth responsibility and live a colorful life under the rapid development of Shaanxi.
Jiang Bo said in his welcome speech that Xi’an Peihua University has been committed to cultivating female college students’ academic ability, leadership and innovation ability in the past 94 years, and has accumulated rich experience in female education. The University will seize the opportunity provided by the Maker Program, and build a broader stage for Peihua students to innovate and start businesses.
Chen Xi, president of Shengshi Tangyan Industrial Group, told her entrepreneurial story: “The founding of Shaanxi Shengshi Tangyan Industrial Group Co., Ltd. is a continuation of my military career. As a female student entrepreneur, I want to create a high-quality service platform of ‘culture, education, health, public welfare, technology + military-civilian integration” to serve the retired servicemen and make my own contribution to the incubation of veteran entrepreneurship and employment!”
A song “The Ordinary Road” pushed the phenomenon to a climax. The entrepreneurial team “Xinqing Band” sang out the difficulties and challenges in entrepreneurship, and even the entrepreneurial young people in the new era who dare to venture and fight, overcome difficulties, and move forward with courage and fighting spirit.
